Monthly Demonstrations
All Monthly Demonstrations, unless otherwise noted, are held Thursday evenings, in the New Horizons at Choate, Terrace Lounge, 21 Warren Ave., Woburn, MA, by Professional Artists, starting at 7:00PM. See the Calendar and directions below.
Thursday Night Art Group, Critiques, Instruction
All other Thursday evenings, in the New Horizons at Choate, Terrace Lounge, we invite members to join with us to practice their craft in a relaxed fun spacious environment.
You need that one night a week for yourself! Bring your paints and tools!
Ask questions about your style or medium. Learn from other's tricks and techniques.
Note in the calendar the "Critique Nights", where you can bring some of your artwork to be critiqued by other talented artists. All good thoughts that may help you improve your design.
Workshop, Painting Day Trips, Tours, etc.
Please "Contact us" early, if you are interested in attending a Workshop, Day Trip, or Tour. Coordinated efforts are discussed about transportation, location, and times.
These activities are usually relaxing, fun, and very worthwhile. Note the current Workshop!
Member Exhibits
WGA has a list of places where we are invited to exhibit our members artwork. If you think you have a good arrangement of artwork, WGA will gladly work with you and assist you with interested banks, businesses, and galleries, for you to exhibit.
If you have a small amount of work you would like to show, you may want to partner in with another WGA member. Please "Contact us". We usually have a list of names too.
Spence Farm, Summer Farmers Market
During the Summer and Fall the Woburn Guild of Artists takes part in Woburn's Spence Farm's Farmers Market. We set up the WGA canopy and encourage our members to take part with us to set up a personal table inside the spacious building. You will be able to sell your artwork to the hundreds of public visitors! What could be better than that?

New Horizons at Choate, Terrace Lounge, 21 Warren Avenue, Woburn, MA
From Rt. 95/128 take either the Winn St. exit #34, or the Main St. exit #35, south.
Go about 1.5 to 2 miles to Woburn Center. From Winn St., at the center, take a right onto Pleasant St. From Main St. proceed straight through onto Pleasant St., either way passing the Woburn Public Library on the right. At the next set of lights, a five way stop, take a sharp left onto Warren Ave. and proceed up to the top of the hill. New Horizons will be on your right. Go in the front door where someone at the front desk can direct you down to the Terrace Lounge. Free Parking and Handicap Accessible.
Or, from Rt. 93 take the Montvale Ave exit #36 toward Woburn, about 2.5 miles to Woburn Center (road ends). Take a right at the lights and the next left around the center onto Pleasant St. passing the Woburn Public Library on the right. At the next set of lights, a five way stop, take a sharp left onto Warren Ave. and proceed up to the top of the hill. New Horizons will be on your right. Go in the front door where someone at the front desk can direct you down to the Terrace Lounge.

Woburn Veterans Senior Center, 144 School Street, Woburn, MA
From Rt. 95/128, take the Rt. 38 Woburn/Wilmington exit #35, Main Street north, towards Wilmington. At the 2nd set of lights, take a right onto School Street. At the fork, bear right (still on School Street) and proceed about 3/4 of a mile to the Senior Center, #144, on the left. Free Parking and Handicap Accessible.
First Congregational Church, 321 Main Street, Woburn Center, MA
From Rt. 95/128 take either the Winn St. exit #34, or the Main St. exit #35, south.
